Approximately 42cm squared and purchased from e-bay in January 2019, this board is apparently made of satinwood or satin walnut. The squares depict thistles, shamrocks, English roses and Tudor crowns, and there is a very faint eagle? and number stamp on the back of the board. This appears to be quite scarce, I’ve only ever seen one other (which I also own lol!). I love this board because any chessmen like Killarney chessmen look terrific on it. A little beauty!
