A Gamage St.George pattern boxwood /ebony chess set

This boxwood/ebony St.George pattern set appears to resemble the Gamage advert taken from the early 20th century. In the adverts for both the  English and the St. George pattern it is unclear as to which is which.  With a king height of 3.75 inches, these chunky chessmen were not expensive at the time.
