This unweighted early BCC Royal set, king 10cms (no original box) was purchased on ebay some years ago, with the white knight heads painted pink with a water-based paint!! After its careful removal with methylated spiritis it became necessary to coat the cleaned surface with a coat of Shellac to disguise the end result.
These early sets are none too easy to get.
