Galaith turned plastic – possibly UHLIG

Having seen this interesting turned Galaith plastic set from the early 20th century, I believe this just might be a scarce UHLIG set?!

I have never seen another one quite like it – with a 2.25 cms king the pieces appear to have been stained which is unusual.

I purchased this interesting set on E BAY recently, and I am mighty pleased that i did! – the set came in the photographed cardboard box.
