Vintage promotional chessboard

This charming and unusual promotional Robin Cigarette Company (probably pub?) chess board was a very welcome surprise gift from my wife who negotiated a top secret deal with a highly reputable seller. With 3×3 cms painted playing squares and in great condition, it should suit vintage small sets. In the past I have managed to get another promotional board for the collection.  As an exercise I always check the back side of a chess board – this can help a collector to avoid mistakes in buying.
